Paused animation skips ahead on resume

In the attached .qml, clicking inside the square pauses and resumes the animation.

On resuming, the block seems to skip ahead by some undetermined amount.
The velocity of the block also seems to slow in relation to the duration left from before the skip with remaining distance after the skip.
