    Description

On the fedora 16 beta, running the new gnome-shell desktop (a.k.a gnome 3) mouse clicks do not function in buttons on most (if not all) modal dialogs. See https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=742658 for lots of details. For a specific example, try any app that pops up the standard Qt printer interface dialog. Focus changes if you click on a button, but the button does not get activated. In the bugzilla above I provide a silly LD_PRELOAD library I used to verify that both ButtonPress and ButtonRelease events are reaching the Qt XNextEvent() calls, from there I have no idea what happens to them. I also note that the same thing happens in the released fedora 15 gnome 3 desktop if you point at the fedora 16 Qt libraries.
