Autoscrolling is only supported for drag move events. However, it would be nice if autoscrolling was also supported if the view's selection mode is ExtendedSelection, and that the selection was updated appropriately as the scrolling occurs. This would make it easier to make extended selections that that are larger than the number of visible items in the viewport.
