path.addText introduces gaps between the should-be connected Arabic characters

      I have just checked your nice deform demo and noticed that using Arabic text
      would introduce some gaps between the should-be connected letters. I traced
      this to QPainterPath::addText. The red circles in the snapshot show the strange white gaps which shouldn't be there
