QXmlInputSource misuses QIODevice and doesn't behave according to its own documentation

      {
          init();
          d->inputDevice = dev;
          d->inputDevice->setTextModeEnabled(false);
      }
      

      Above function does not open the input device before setting text mode.
      Needs something like

      if (!dev->isOpen())
          dev->open(QIODevice::ReadOnly);
