Description
The Documentation for setup of ODBC on the Mac looks to be outdated.
It states that we recommend openODBC for the mac, which is probably no longer the case. OS X now comes with iODBC, which simplifies the process of using ODBC with 3rd Party Drivers for developers, as long as they ensure they use the SQL_OV_ODBC3 parameter in their applications.
It could also be a bit clearer about the need for a third party driver to connect to SQL Server, and possibly suggest something like FreeTDS or one of the commercial solutions.
