Description
A customer provided the following comments on Qt Assistant:
- It's very difficult to see the grey selection (on Windows XP, at least). Is it possible to customise this?
- Search works very well, but I think the location is odd: it made more sense where it was before, at left.
- The context menu Copy function is odd: right-clicking on a selection removes text highlighting and I think (pedantically!) that 'Copy selected Text' could just be 'Copy'.
- The cursor (except on link text) should be an IBeamCursor.
- The way the margins work, Access functions bump into the member that follows, i.e. there should be more vertical margin below the Access functions div.
- It would be nice if there was an option only to show Qt 4 classes: for popular method names like setSelected, an (unwanted) list of Qt 3 clases can be distracting.
- Last but not least... Why, in the examples do you not like the _privateMember idiom?
- Also – why do some slots (e.g. the protected slots in QTableView such as columnCountChanged()) now have 'past particple' names? This type of name used to be reserved for signals, which seemed a sensible convention.
