Description
Currently when rendering a MapNode, all the map objects added to the map are blindly updated at every frame. Culling this set and perhaps performing clipping as appropriate, are options for improving performance here.
An important sub-issue here is culling of geometric detail in large polylines, which is a useful feature for rendering Routes at low zoom levels.
