Qt already has about 5 or 6 triangulators in it in various places. Qt3d team want to dress one of these up and make it public API, which would be perfect for our use. However, they lack the resources at the moment (this may change of course). They are however more than happy to take a triangulator we find from somewhere and make that public API for us.
