P1: Critical Description
Commitment to soft freezing the API. This requires the following:
- The API is expected to remain compatible. Controlled changes are possible (until around Qt 5.0 beta). Known upcoming breaks should be documented as bugs and linked here.
- API has been reviewed. Please list the names of reviewers in a comment to this task.
- Please list (in a comment to this task) the names of applications or examples that have used the API to validate that the API works in practice
