Better integration with other event loops

The ideal situation would be that Qt gets all events (window system, timer, posted events, socket notifier, etc.) through the system's event system. This means that writing plugins, addon components, etc. don't need to have any extra integration code that calls QApplication::sendPosteEvents(), for example.
