Mapping manager engine never gets deleted

      The mappingManager is responsible for the mapping manager engine and so needs to call delete engine; in its destructor.

      Unfortunately, closing the mapViewer causes several asserts when the mappingManagerEngine is destructed. These need to be tracked down and fixed.
