Ubuntu with Unity
Description
Since Ubuntu uses Unity as desktop app, QSystemTrayIcon doesn't show. To allow them, you must follow this guide http://doc.ubuntu-fr.org/indicator-applications#retrouver_les_applications_dans_la_barre_de_notification (sorry, I'm french, and I don't find the english version), but, in summary, you have to run this command
gsettings set com.canonical.Unity.Panel systray-whitelist "['all']"
So I think this trick must be included in the QSystemTrayIcon doc.
