Start a docking-animation programmatically

Having an API that would "slide in a dock widget" programmatically would make it possible to implement ie. drag'n'drop in such a way that an external item dropped into the mainwindow would create a dockwidget and slide it in, rather than make it appear immediately without giving the user a visual cue via animation where the dropped item can be found.
