    Description

      A QQuickDropArea currently doesn't accept drops from outside the Qt Quick app (e.g. files from the file manager/finder/konqueror etc.) Likewise there's no way to drag and drop between two apps if the source is a Qt Quick app. So far it has been necessary to write app-specific C++ code for that, but we could make it a built-in feature.
