A user on Mac 10.8 is experiencing a reproducible crash when trying to open a dialog - here are two backtraces: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1065213/+attachment/3393647/+files/mudletdump.txt.gz and https://launchpadlibrarian.net/119423852/mudletdump2.txt.gz. The Free software that can trigger this is available here: https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B-iK1aZHmCtKWDZkeGpGN3lQNDg - do Play -> Connect to a random icon at first, and then try to access the settings/preferences - this should cause a crash.

The issue seems to be unique to the machine and doesn't happen on others that we know of, but Google shows that other projects like Firefox and LibreOffice have had crashes in similar Apple APIs.
