Description
When rendering a text string in an QGLWidget, some characters are drawn slightly above or below the baseline. The effect is that the string appears as if written by a drunk computer! See enclosed test program and jpg for an example. The high-level culprit routine is renderText(). This bug manifests itself if the test program is run under Mac OS X 10.7 or 10.8. Interestingly the text looks perfect under 10.6.
Please make this a high priority as this bug affects all Qt programs that write text to their QGLWidgets using renderText() on the modern Macs.
