Windows installer displays README without linebreaks - unreadable

    Description

      On Windows, the installer uses the system text viewing app to display the README. By default, that is MS Notepad, which does not grok \n lineendings, it needs \r\n.

      Either the file must be changed for the windows package, or perhaps easier and better: the installer itself can display the README as one of its steps.
