QT Designers rendering of an applications menu unreadable on OSX retina screens

      When Designer renders the application of a mainwindow form the text is corrupted, with the top level menu names being particularly badly affected. See the attached screen shot.

      I also attach the equivalent image from Designer 4.8.3 for reference.
