Please add checking for required tool on configuration stage.

    Description

      configure checks for all required libs and shows the summary before building, and that's really good.

      But running make fails if any of the following dependencies is missing:

      • ruby
      • flex
      • bison

      It would be great for configure to warn if any of those required tools is missing, because to get the full list of build requirements takes 3-4 builds (about 5 hours).
