Nothing gets printed at all if a real (network) printer is used to render bitmap patterns

    Description

      If bitmap data patterns are sent to a real printer, nothing gets printed and no errors are shown.

      The example attached can be used to reproduce this issue.

      Steps to reproduce:
      1. run the example and select a physical (network) printer
      2. press 'Print'

      expected outcome:
      The fill patterns gets printed

      actual outcome:
      nothing is printed
