[Windows]: Cannot play videos on a virtual machine. Serious error -2147467262 (wmfengine)

      My application plays video fine using QtQuick 2.0 on Qt 5.0.1. Now I've compiled Qt 5.0.2 from git (release branch) and cannot play videos anymore. The files are the same that work with 5.0.1.

      I get errors like:

      handleSessionEvent: serious error = -2147467262
Media session serious error.

      This happens on Windows 8 using the WMF plugin (wmfengine).

      I've looked at the commit log and saw that wmfengine now uses hardware accelerated video decoding. Could that be the issue here?
