When adding a splash screen (manually in res/layout/splash.xml) it does not show up before the app launches. If Qt does not load properly (e.g. if the "Do you want to install Ministro" dialog comes up) the splash screen is shown.

It looks like we immediately blank the screen when starting Qt, so the splash
screen is overwritten before it has a chance to update the screen: Adding a sleep before calling loadApplication() will show the splash screen, but then the screen goes black afterwards.
