Bridge C++ objects to Javascript in the WebKit2 module

    XMLWordPrintable

Details

    Description

Currently there aren't similar way of briging C++ Objects and JavaScript in the WebKit2 based Qt WebKit module as there is in the WebKit1 based Qt WebKit Widgets module (http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5.0/qtwebkit/qtwebkit-bridge.html).

It would be really cool to have this feature in the Qt WebKit module too.

There has been some effort to do something like this implemented in a Qt labs project (http://qt.gitorious.org/qt-labs/qwebchannel) but nothing official.
