When a parent is initially not visible then it causes the states to be switched incorrectly later on. In the example attached, when you click on the item it should show it going from a gray item to a blue one (via a timer) but only the gray one is visible.

If the visible = false line is removed from the page item in stateChange.qml then everything works fine.

The example is using Qt Quick 1.1 but changing it to Qt Quick 2.0 shows the same problem exists there too.
