I am using a 64-bit build of Qt 4.8.1 on the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Professional. I also tested with Qt 5.0.2 and had the same issue.
Description
Setting the HTML of a QTextEdit control to contain nested unordered lists (<ul> tags) will result in the text not being displayed. There will be extra space in the last nested list. The same HTML is displayed properly in Internet Explorer and Chrome. I've attached example HTML code to reproduce. Just add a QTextEdit control in Qt Designer and set the HTML property to the contents of the file.
