Description
I am trying to capture a web page using CutyCapt (rev. 10) utility (please see attachment cutycapt-code-10.zip) source code is also available at: http://sourceforge.net/projects/cutycapt/
Prerequisites:
antialiasing is disabled, using "~/.fonts.conf" file - see attachment
Using native QT 4.8.X library in Kubuntu 12.04 LTS the captured screenshot is created correctly, text is sharp and NOT antialiased - (attachment screenshot481.png)
used command:
./CutyCapt --url=http://google.com/ncr --out=/home/vm/google481.png
Using QT 5.1.1 (binary release) the captured screenshot is created incorrectly, text is still antialiased - (attachment screenshot511.png)
used command:
./CutyCapt --url=http://google.com/ncr --out=/home/vm/google511.png
Steps to reproduce:
Prerequisites:
antialiasing is disabled, using "~/.fonts.conf" file - see attachment
1) Download QT 5.X.X binary release for linux from http://qt-project.org/downloads
2) Download attached CutyCapt source code
3) Build CytyCapt using QT 5.X.X
4) execute CutyCapt using commands above
Result:
Text in captured screenshot is antialiased, but it sould not be antialiased, because antialiasing is disabled.
