'qt5/configure -sdk' does not work

    Description

      Applicable: current Qt5 git version

      On Mac running OSX 10.8.5, upgrade to Xcode 5.0.1 installs additionally MacOSX10.9.sdk.
      Trying to chose MacOSX10.8.sdk for build does not work...
      E.g. command:
      ../qt5/configure -debug-and-release -opensource -platform macx-clang -developer-build -optimized-qmake -nomake examples -confirm-license -nomake tests -no-javascript-jit -sdk macosx10.8

      builds Qt using MacOSX10.9.sdk.
