Description
The current mouse selection in e.g. TextEdit components is not very well suited for mobile platforms.
On both Android and iOS, you would want a way of selecting text which did not interfere with input and which allows you to easily edit the selection with your fingers using movable anchors. We need a QPA API for this and it needs to be flexible enough to be used on these platforms and probably BlackBerry / Jolla.
If possible, it would also be very good to integrate with the system toolbar for manipulating the selection (the copy/cut-buttons on Android). This last part might be separated into a different task, as it's really about exposing this functionality to the user (either through a cross-platform API if possible or androidextras).
