Description
Application hangs in the IEnumConnections->Skip method after calling IEnumConnections->Reset method. It looks like there is an infinite loop or an initialized variable in the implementation code.
void hang1( IQTCrashPtr qtObject ) { IConnectionPointPtr connectionPoint; IConnectionPointContainerPtr( qtObject )->FindConnectionPoint( __uuidof( IQTCrashEvents ), &connectionPoint ); IEnumConnectionsPtr connections; connectionPoint->EnumConnections( &connections ); connections->Reset(); while( connections->Skip( 1 ) == S_OK) // will hang here forever (or for a _very_ long time) { } }
Example project that demonstrates the crash is attached
