Android: Line edit backspace autorepeat bug

This may be reproducible with other applications as well, but this is specifically what I did to reproduce it myself:

1. Start "Secure Socket Client" example
2. Tap "Host name:" input field.
3. Hold down backspace button on virtual keyboard to remove entire content.

What happens:
Backspace works until the content left in the editor is "imap.". At this point, no further editing is possible until you close and re-open the keyboard.
