Mac: Contextual menu hangs/won't close under certain circumstances

      When selecting a menu item in a contextual menu (QMenu), the menu hangs (won't close) under circumstances in which I have not yet found a pattern. The only way to close the menu is to quit the application.

      I have experienced this in my own application and Qt Creator shipped with versions above.

      Perhaps related to https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-35820 ?
