Description
If a font has multiple weight variants beyond the typical "regular" and "bold", the QFontDialog changes them to regular or bold in the selected font.
For example, the American Typewriter font has styles Condensed, Condensed Light, Bold, Light, Condensed Bold, and Regular. But, in the Sample area of the non-native QFontDialog and in the font returned by the dialog, the Condensed, Condensed Light, and Light styles all look identical to Regular, and the Condensed Bold style looks identical to Bold.
