While this can be done via the standard Android Location API, the implementation is rather inefficient or more precise the existing positionpoll plugin is serving the purpose already.

If Google Play service based positioning is available, we should implement this feature based on the provided geofencing API in it. The understanding is that it is more efficient than pure polling based fencing.
