When drawing a rectangle with a pen that has a large width then there is some artifacts in the drawing when antialiasing is turned off. With the attached example you will see some artifacts on the left hand side of the rectangle in the two corners. If the rectangle is bigger then they do not always show up at least. Additionally if you use Qt4CompatiblePainting as a render hint or turn on antialiasing then it works fine.
