Qt Creator exits when pressing escape

1. compile Qt Creator with qt/dev (you'll need smth similar to https://codereview.qt-project.org/77360)
2. start it
3. click into the Locator line edit (or press cmd+k)
4. press escape

Expected: locator popup closes, focus returns to Qt Creator main window

Actual: Qt Creator's main event loop exits, and Qt Creator quits

This also happens e.g. when searching in an editor and pressing escape to return focus to the editor. All data lost, no questions asked.
