Qt 5.2.2 compiled for win32 cannot properly display openGl on different hardware

Whereas qt 5.1.0 properly displays on any hardware OpenGl content,
Qt 5.2.2 compiled for windows win32 and running on Win7 does only display empty frames. This happens on different hardware constellation and can sometimes be circumvented by replacing the graphics card.

Here is a selection of not working hardware combinations:
Asus P8Z77-V LX Motherboard with Intel i7-3770K, 8GB Ram, Saphire 1 GB D5 X HD 7770 OC GHZ Ati graphics card.

It also does not work with the same hardware but using the on board graphics.

It works when on board card runs in compatibility vesa mode.

Older hardware such as:
Intel Core 2 CPU 6400@2.13GHz, 8GB RAm, 64 bit win7,intel Q963 board inside dell optiplex 745,ATI Radeon HD 5450

also shows empty frames.

It can all be resolved by switching back to 5.1.0.
