When using the QML Camera object with the VideoOutput object, the autoOrientation flag of VideoOutput does reorient the viewfinder when the device rotates but doesn't set it to the correct orientation on some devices.

Nexus 7 (Android 4.4.2) - autoOrientation orientation is incorrect
iPhone 5 (iOS 7) - autoOrientation orientation is incorrect
Desktop (Mac OS 10.8) - autoOrientation orientation works properly
Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.0 (Android 4.0.4) - autoOrientation orientation works properly

If I had to guess I would think it has to do with the devices "natural" orientation (the orientation it reports as 0 rotation) vs the camera's installed orientation
