Use the bearermonitor example to test this from your computer that has wifi support.

1> Create a wifi connection ( without a password )
2> Run the app with a debug statement in BearerMonitor::configurationChanged() slot.
3> Change the wifi network of your computer to the wifi created in step 1.

No configartion changed signal is emitted, whereas if you shift to a connection with password, this is emitted.
