Regression: Clicking while tool tip is open doesn't propagate click to 'underlying' widget

compile and run the attached example. hover mouse over an item in the treeview until tooltip appears. click.

Expected: tool tip vanishes and item is selected
Actual: tool tip vanishes

This is very annoying and makes e.g. the property editor in designer, mode selector in qt creator and many other things practically unusable
