While testing a network feature I was working on, I experienced a crash in QtCore when a fetch of a simple http url is attempted repeatedly. Attached is a small test program (which fetches http://localhost/index.html) and a bash script which invokes this program repeatedly.

The crash happens after relatively random intervals, sometimes crashing in 5-10 mins and sometimes as high as 2 hours!
