The current implementation of the unified toolbar on Mac, although clever, does not behave "natively" in fullscreen mode. The toolbar stays in the window and does not hide with the top menu.

I know you're probably aware of the limitation, as it is by design in the new impl. Still I feel it is a bug, as a Mac fullscreen app won't feel integrated at all.
