I just started an opensource project of mine and I was pretty disappointed to find out that the menu can't be navigated using the keyboard. To add to that, the mnemonics for different menu's are visible when Alt is pressed. But when pressing Alt + () and opening a menu, the mnemonics for menu items are not displayed.

I checked the examples to check whether my code was missing something and found that the examples containing the menus also display the same behavior.

This is the basic functionality everyone expects from an app. I hope this bug gets resolved as soon as possible.

Edit : I see there is already a bug similar to this marked as fixed in 5.2. If it indeed was fixed in version 5.2, this is a regression in the version 5.3.
