I created a simple test case: a glwidget tracks the mouse movements and paints a rectangle below the cursor. The rectangles movement lags behind the cursor's by a large margin. In the supplied test case you have to press a mouse button for the widget to track it.
I discovered the issue in an application that worked fine in previous versions of Qt.
