    • I have included the complete log as well as a list of all packages installed on my system.

      1. I dowload latest qt-everywhere 5.3.0 tarball and extract it on my fully updated Debian x64 system.
      2. I configure according to the instructions in the README file with the following options:

      $./configure -prefix $PWD/qtbase -release -opensource -static -confirm-license -fully-process -c++11 -largefile -continue -silent -optimized-qmake -no-sql-db2 -no-sql-ibase -no-sql-mysql -no-sql-oci -no-sql-odbc -no-sql-psql -no-sql-sqlite2 -no-sql-tds -no-gif -no-nis -no-cups -no-iconv -no-dbus -reduce-relocations -no-eglfs -no-directfb -no-linuxfb -no-glib -no-kms -no-sql-sqlite -qpa xcb -nomake examples -nomake tests

      3. Configure works for a while before it completes with the following tail:

      Project ERROR: No module claims plugin type 'qmltooling'
      Done

      Qt is now configured for building. Just run 'make'.
      Once everything is built, Qt is installed.
      You should not run 'make install'.

      Prior to reconfiguration, make sure you remove any leftovers from
      the previous build.

      4. I notice the contradicting result (error message "Project ERROR: No module claims plugin type 'qmltooling'" but with a message of success)
      5. I try to run make:

      $make -j9
      make: *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop.
