Corrupted font rendering on certain Android devices

This bug existed in all Qt 5 versions and still there in the released Qt 5.3.1.
I suppose the affected devices are ones with Vivante/HiSilicon GPUs.
When application is started its UI is rendered correctly but after some interactions all text characters become rectangles with pixel noise.
Setting text rendering mode to Qt or native doesn't help.
I'm willing to help with fixing / testing the issue but I don't know where to start.
