When rendering to PDF then with some fonts the kerning can be too tight or it may be clipped off. With the attached example which uses Vijiay when the output is saved to PDF you can see the characters are too close to each other. With another font - Adobe Caslon Pro (which is not available in the test generally but is available internally to Digians due to lack of right to distribute) then it is clipped off.
