Description
QtLocation's Map component has a "bearing" property, which according to the documentation should rotate the map so that the specified bearing is up on screen. However, this property seems non-functional; if I understand correctly the map plugins don't (yet) implement that.
I'm requesting that the bearing property be actually implemented. It would allow in navigation use to keep the map rotated so that the user is always heading upwards on screen, which would be especially useful when driving a car alone. I know that rotating PNG-tiles (as opposed to vector maps) is not perfect; it will lead to minor fuzziness and upside down text, but it would nevertheless be very useful.
