Description
Opening relatively commonplace pages can crash applications running with the WebEngine widgets embedded in the app. In the attached file "heriot_dump" I have attached the console output of an app which navigates first to the Google homepage, then to the Facebook homepage before the app crashed.
In the file "heriot_backtrace" I include the output of the gdb backtrace that accompanies navigating to the Google homepage initially, where the application then crashed as soon as I moused across the face of the WebEngine widget.
This same application does not have trouble rendering either of these pages under Qt 5.4.0 Alpha on OS X.
