It's not possible to add new words to the T9 dictionary (for example when using softkeys example )

      Problem description:
      Launch softkeys, double click the # key to put the editor into predictive text mode, then try to enter a word not in the dictionary. Pressing * cycles through the various words the dictionary knows, but in other apps, eventually the left softkey turns to "spell". This doesn't occur in the softkeys app (and maybe others, I haven't tried)
